I know this feeling all too well. but I think you need a little bit of confidence :) you never know until you ask a guy if they feel the same way about you! Just be yourself, ask a guy you may be crushing on to like the park or to get ice cream, just to break the ice & if you think it can lead to like a “2nd date” then ask him to the movies. but I know this awkwardness all to well. i’m 22 & I just started asking guys out. you just need a boost of confidence & reassurance. & if the guy says no or has excuses, don’t chase him. go to someone else. the worse they can say is no & you’ll learn from that & move on! too many guys out there to be worrying about just one that didn’t give you a chance.
oh that one you have to email her about! I wish you were off anon because this could help me a lot better! but her email is nunezboutique@gmail.com just tell her MiMi referred you & that your inquiring about the champagne diamond colored bracelets :)
leggings & button ups! tunic tops, & like I told the last person, jumpsuits & rompers definitely! high waisted shorts are also a must with jeffrey campbells love!
browns, greens & beige’s go great with olive. depending on the style of the bootie, i’d probably wear a jumpsuit! summer is coming & you’d want to strut your stuff, no? if its a little chilly where you live, then throw on a blazer & a cream, green or olive colored scarf. : )
Spring - Trench coats! They’re back & I’am absolutely looking forward to buying one or two! Definitely try to go for colored ones! I am expecting to buy a green one ($128)! Don’t be afraid to be out of the norm of the beige/tan colored trench. A little color will not hurt lol! Another trend is windbreakers. I like the ones Abercrombie ($80) are selling.
Summer - As far as summer, I haven’t yet thought it through. I’ll probably remain wearing gladiator sandals, wedge sandals & wedge booties! Short shorts are something I would grab as well. Floral patterned dresses are in! I found a jersey dress by Marc Jacobs ($328) that I am definitely considering buying. I think floral & abstract patterns will be in this summer! for those kind of patterns, keep it simple. you dont want to overthrow the pattern, hiding it. you want to let it show. if it’s spring, wear a denim jacket or a cute blazer. Another Marc Jacobs Dress i’m considering (click here, $248)
look out for my spring/summer essentials list (coming very soon), where I will make a list of everything trendy that you will want, from inexpensive to expensive! <3
I sure do! I am a stylist darling! & well since it is a casual/comfortable setting, I would want to dress that way. if it’s a little nippy where you live, like say NYC or CT where the temps right now are in the 40s & 50s, I would go with a cute “grandpa” or “boyfriend” styled knit long sweater, a t-shirt, favorite pair of skinny jeans & a pair of flats. you want to be cute but warm!
My Choices (Expensive & Inexpensive):
- Knit Sweater/Cardigan; Marc Jacobs ($358; expensive but effing cute!) & Macys ($22.49; It’s on sale & it’s super chic.), Gilly Hicks ($39.50; Striped cardigans go with everything!) *side-note: I usually get my cardigans from H&M. they last longer than any other cardigan I’ve ever brought!*
- Flats; Vera Wang ($175 - I know, a bit much but, they are just soo lovely! lol!), Toms ($44; I feel these are cute & comfortable! why not be chic & still be able to know you donated a free pair just by buying them?) DSW ($29.94; I don’t normally shop this site but they do have cute shoes for amazing prices!)
- Shirts; as far as the shirt, a drapey tank (AE, $10.00) can work out in your favor, a corset styled top (AE, $29.50), or a just a regular boyfriend tank (AE, $15.50) will do just fine! Even a patterned top (Hollister, $19.75) will do good as well!
The jeans are unexplainable. any pair of your fave jeans is just fine! <3 have fun doll!
there are various way to dress up a plaid button up! how I wear it is with some skinny jeans, casual, skinny khaki pants or with a pair of leggings & a cardigan or a chunky sweater, if it’s cold out. as far as my feet, in the spring/summer, I wear some cute sandals or wedges; winter, i’ll wear a pair of boots or my loafers. I don’t wear much accessories when I wear a plaid shirt. maybe just a few bracelets because my sleeves are almost always rolled up.
I also like to pair a plaid shirt with a pull over sweater & a cute skirt. give it a preppy look a little. I have so many ideas to how you can wear a plaid shirt. you can also wear a pair of shorts, I prefer high-waisted, with a pair of sheer, nearly see-through tights & a pair of jeffery campbells or wedge booties. I mean the ideas are endless! I hope I helped you doll! <3

I want to go off & curse to the ceiling right now but i’ll be lady & keep my curses to myself. But your friend, oh man, i’m very sorry, but she’s a bitch! there’s no other way to put it. that’s not a friend at all! & for her to do you dirty like that calls for a fight where I come from! while you was getting disrespected & such but this piece of shit dude you were with, she was being a hoe! what you need to do is cut all ties with the girl. she’s not a friend. she knew you wasn’t happy so why would she do what she did? i’m sorry but that isn’t a friend, whatsoever. you need to reevaluate who you keep in your circle & who you trust. because no friend of mine would do something like that to me. i’ll pound her to the ground first before I reconsider her being my friend again. i’m not saying you have to result to violence, because that is not the answer! but just let her know you’re not one to hold grudges but you’re not one to keep around sleazy friends either. it’s best to part ways.

aww thanks doll! <3 : ) I greatly appreciate it!
i’ve had a few friends cut themselves & i’ve seen the scars. gently sit your friend & talk to them. find out why she’s doing it. because in many cases, she’s probably someone can reach out her to her & save her before it’s too late. I can understand if you’re afraid to confront her but she’s just as afraid that she’s doing this herself & no one notices. reach out to her & help her. get an adult to help also. like your parents or a school counselor so they can further help her to get her better.
